THE HIGHER TASTE

Tomatoes and Okra.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 C. okra, cut in 1/2 inch slices
3/4 Tsp. hing
1/2 C. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tsp. flour
3/4 Tsp. salt
1/4 Tsp. pepper
3 tomatoes - peeled and quartered

Preparation:
Cook okra, covered, in small amount of boiling salted water 10 minutes; drain. Cook green pepper in salad oil until tender, but not brown. Blend in sugar, flour and seasonings.

Add okra and tomatoes; cook over low heat until vegetables are hot through, stirring as little as possible.
