THE HIGHER TASTE

Tofu Pizza.

Ingredients.
1 packet Plain tofu
1 envelope active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt

TOPPINGS
4 artichoke hearts, sliced
½ cup pitted kalamata olives
1 ½ cups grated cheese
½ red bell pepper, sliced thin
½ cup frozen spinach

Preparation.
In a medium bowl, mix yeast with warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Mix in salt, olive oil, sugar and flour until thick dough forms. Kneed dough on lightly floured counter and let it rest for 3 minutes.

Kneed in Plain Tofu and place in warm place for 30 minutes to an hour to let the dough rise. Heat oven to 400°.

Roll out dough on medium size pizza stone. Rub small amount of olive oil on surface of dough.

Sprinkle toppings on dough.

Place pizza in oven and cook for 15 minutes or until crust is preferred consistency.
