Rice Soup.
Ingredients.
1 t hing
1 L of vegetable stock
4 oz cooked rice
1/2 lemon
1 t soy-sauce
2 t sugar
2 t fresh, shredded ginger
1 small red, chili pepper
White pepper
Preparation.
Bring the vegetable stock to boil with the rice and the hing. Drip a bit of lemon juice on them. Add them to the soup and let it simmer with soy-sauce and sugar. Add ginger and the whole, small chili pepper. Taste with white pepper and salt if preferred. Let it simmer for 5 minutes with no lid. Remove the chili pepper.
Serve the soup hot.
