White pongal.(Ven pongal)

Ingredients:
Raw rice-2 cups
Moong dhal-1/2 cup
Mustard-1 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Whole black pepper-2 tbsp
Dry Red Chilli-4
Asafoetida-1/4 tsp
Ginger-1 inch piece(finely chopped
Cashew nuts-3 tbsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves-1 cup(chopped)
Salt to taste

Ghee
Preparation:
Wash rice and dhal together,add 2:1 water ratio to pressuer cook with salt to taste for 25 minutes.
Heat a pan with ghee season it with murtard,jeera,whole black pepper,dry red chilli,curry leaves,ginger,Cashew nuts and asafoetida.
Mix it well with cooked rice and dhal.
Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and cashew nuts.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
