THE HIGHER TASTE

Almond Bread.

Ingredients.
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. yogourt
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. almond flavor extract
1 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder.

In a small bowl, add yogourt, oil, almond extract and nuts. Make a well in the dry ingredients, pour in wet ingredients.

Mix well with hands. Divide dough into two parts.

Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.

Cut into 3/4" slices and spread slices onto a cookie sheet and turn the oven to 400 degrees. Return to oven to brown and toast for 5 minutes.
