Apple Bread.
Ingredients.
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoon yogourt
1 1/2 cups flour, all purpose
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup apple, mashed
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Preparation.
Reheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, sugar, and yogourt. Sift the dry ingredients, and combine with the butter mixture. Blend well. Add the apple, sour cream, and vanilla; stir well.
Blend in the nuts and pour into a well buttered 9-inch by 5-inch by 3-inch loaf pan or 4 mini loaf pans.
Bake 1 hour for large loaf, 30 minutes for mini loaves.
Turn out onto a rack to cool.
