Lime cake.
Ingredients.
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 cups chopped lime
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 teaspoons yogourt
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cups flaked sweetened coconut
1 cups chopped pecans
1/2 cup drained, chopped maraschino cherries
1/2 cups butter
Preparation.
Combine flour, sugar, lime, soda and yogourt and bake in 9x13-inch pan at 350 F until cake is done (test by toothpick).
When cake is almost done, combine evaporated milk, coconut, pecans, cherries, sugar and butter and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
Pour mixture over hot cake.
Serve warm.
