Quotes of Srila Prabhupada.

We are in so many ways indebted. Our obligations are there. But if one surrenders fully unto Krishna then he is no longer any more indebted to all these obligations. He is immune. At one stroke he becomes liquidated from all obligation.

Krishna is everywhere. Simply you have to catch Him. And He’s also ready for being caught. Yes, if somebody wants to catch Him. Suppose you are a devotee. If you want to catch Him, He comes forward ten times than your desire. He’s so kind. Therefore, we have to simply receive him.
- London, August 21, 1973.

Vedic civilization is, even if an enemy comes to your home, you should receive him in so friendly a manner, such that he will forget you are his enemy.

Mukunda means one who can offer you liberation from this material bondage.
- New York, May 20, 1966.

We should not eat more than required. Eating, sleeping, mating, all these are material demands; the more we minimize; then that is good, but not at the risk of health. Because we have to work for Krishna, so we must maintain our health nicely.
- Montreal, August 23, 1968.

Energy is always kept on the left side. Radharani is on the left side of the Lord, and similarly, Lakshmiji is also on the left side of the Lord.

We are also marginal energy, not exactly like Radharani or Lakshmiji, so we should keep ourselves always on the left side of the Lord, and let us act as His arms or army.
- Letter to Brahmananda, August 22, 1968.

Chanakya Pandita says that there is no comparison between a rich man and a learned man. They are different categories.

A rich man, a king, may be very respectable in his own country amongst his own men, but a learned scholar is respected all over the world.

If one is respected all over the world, and if one is respected in his own village, how can there be any comparison?
- Dallas, May 21, 1973.

Prabhupada: Temporary, this (indistinct). Why this "temporary" word has come into existence unless there is the opposite, "eternal"? Why do you use this word, "temporary"? When you say, "It is fraud," and there must be something as honesty. Otherwise, why this "fraud" has come? Hm? We say, "This is light" -- means there is something as darkness. This is relative world. The Professor Einstein said relativity. This is relative: as soon as there is darkness, there must be light. Otherwise, how you understand light and darkness? So unless there is eternity, how do you bring this word, "temporary"? What is their answer?

Prabhupada: Unless there is father, there is no meaning of the word son. Unless there is husband, there is no meaning of the word wife. This is the relative world, and they are accepting this relativity. So how they can deny? As soon as you "temporary" say, you must accept there is eternity.
