All glories to Srila Prabhupada, the most benevolent representative of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, by giving His mercy of love of Godhead to the most fallen souls in this Kali yuga.

In praise of Aindra prabhu, I recall in New York's Sri Sri Radha-Govinda Mandir we were all bewildered by the activities of all the gurus and GBC, yet we still tried to carry on Srila Prabhupada's mission under the circumstances. Practically all the devotees were doing clown sankirtan collecting Lakshmi without any book distribution.

However there was one devotee Aindra prabhu who astonished New York City residents by his creation of a temple on wheels. It even made the front page of the New York Times. With donations he purchased a large white truck, cut open one side and made two opening doors, inside was with marbleized synthetic walls, the ceiling was mirror with a beautiful large chandelier for night sankirtan, the floor was beautifully carpeted, covering the base of the temple truck a white scrolled marble like panel about six feet wide sandwiched between two short Grecian columns, one inside door contained all of Srila Prabhupada's books for distribution the other door was suitable for light prasadam distribution.

All built by Aindra prabhu personally, with painstaking labor of love of Srila Prabhupada and Sankirtan. Hundreds of people at a time would gather to see the dramatic performance of Aindra prabhu and the kirtan devotees while we were distributing Srila Prabhupada's books. ( Unfortunately we were not aware of the changes ) Aindra prabhu was also single handedly paying for the truck's monthly payments without management support.

As Hare Krishna startled London, Aindra prabhu's Sankirtan vehicle startled New Yorkers and kept the Sankirtan spirit alive in those gloomy days of yore. Undoubtedly Aindra was a rare soul and true representative of his beloved Srila Prabhupada.

All glories to Aindra prabhu. My we always remember him in his spirit to serve the instructions of his guru maharaja Srila Prabhupada the Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
